Â

One of the highlights of the Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone
is the ‘People Hub’. This particular feature, which comes incorporated with
this smartphone, is a big step towards changing the way people connect
socially. It deeply integrates your phonebook with your various online
accounts. This results in a single application for you to use for all your
social networking needs. Hugely convenient and easy to use, this is a winner
for Nokia Windows Phone for sure.

What People Hub does for you is that it brings your
Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts all in one window. This simply means
that you have one app to access all your phonebook entries and connect with
them with a single click. No need for multiple apps for different social
networking sites any more. People Hub is an all-in-one app and is here to make
our lives much easier.

How it works is that it gives you the option to connect with
any of your friends in a single window. Say you have a friend on your phone,
you select his tile in the People Hub and now you have a single
message/conversation thread for him. You can text message him, then shift the
conversation on Facebook chat, or even mention him on Twitter. E-Mail that
friend or write on his Facebook wall, now all that can be done through just
this one single app.

Another added advantage is that you have a single
conversation history which gives you a combined data of your conversation with
that friend. And you can change your mode of communication at any time you want
to. Chatting with a friend on Facebook but he is logging out. Just continue in
the same conversation but text message him instead of Facebook. No need to exit
the app and then go to messaging to for sending texts.Â
