What?
Today we take a look at Pixorial – a site that takes video editing to the web.
No way! Seriously?
Yes siree. Pixorial presents a fair range of tools that allow you to master, produce and edit your video. If you’ve got old VHS or Betamax tapes, you can send them even that via snail mail to Pixorial for a small fee and they’ll put the videos in your account. They also give you 10gigs of space to store your 24fps-ed memories. (There is a premium version that allows unlimited storage, btw)
But I’m no geek…

No problem at all. The learning curve isn’t steep and if you’ve ever used Windows Movie Maker or other such software, you’ll get the hang of Pixorial pretty quickly. The editing process is downright simple and you can create your own shows in no time. Define scenes, drag them to a storyboard, insert titles and some effects and et Viola! We’re ready with a fairly presentable video in a very short amount of time. But because we are talking video here, the faster your internet connection, the better your experience.
Video ready, now what?
And here’s the deal clincher. After you’ve finished editing, you can invite friends and family to the ‘Screening Room’ and have fun watching the video online with real time comments. Whatay fun! You can also order DVD’s, make video e-cards, download the video in high-res etc etc
You can also send 10minute parts of your movie to MySpace and Facebook but that’s not a lot of fun. Just get the popcorn and get everyone to your Pixorial Screening Room.
Feature Suggestions
I wish these guys allowed us to stitch pictures together to make a video. But wait, I have a website for just that. Stay tuned for more!
