Today’s website promises ‘the end of slide shows’ and take them to a new level. Their website promises ‘the visual energy of a music video and the emotional impact of a movie trailer’. Don’t go by the name though, you might think of it as some Japanese anime series.
Really?
Doesn’t the name itself make that apparent? It’ll animate your photos and make it far more interesting to watch than a boring slide show. Its that simple, really. Its got some really cool effects to add to your video and will make even the biggest douche look really cool. They even have a Facebook app that’ll pull in pictures from your album and make a video right out of it! There’s an iPhone app as well to get the job done.
Also for Valentine’s they have all the right fluffy special effects to please your respective darlings. You can also embed video in your e-greetings. Sweet, I say.
Only see? No hear?
Animoto has a really huge collection of songs all categorized very neatly according to genres and tempos to add to your video. If you are a band, you can even add your song to their catalog. Who knows who might hear you? And you are also free to upload your own songs from your phone/hard drive.
They even have music lounge where you can chill out and listen to all the music they have on offer.

There’s one small problem though. In the free version they only allow you to create 30 second movies. The full version costs $25 for a year and I think it’s entirely worth it if your work regularly involves displaying pictures to people. Heck, you can get all the wedding photographers to outsource their job of making super corny wedding videos to you and recover your amount.
